The plugin currently uses shortcodes for embedding. Shortcodes work in both the Block Editor (Gutenberg) and the Classic Editor. Add a Shortcode block and paste the [wpgsv] or [wpgsv_map] shortcode.

Yes, if the business has been photographed by a Google Trusted Photographer. The plugin embeds the interior panorama using the same Street View technology. See Virtual tours.
Street View coverage varies by location. If no panoramic imagery exists at your coordinates, the Street View panel will show a blank or grey area. Use Google Maps to verify coverage by dropping the Pegman on your location.
Minimal. The plugin stores map configurations in the WordPress database and enqueues JavaScript only on pages that contain a map shortcode. All map rendering is done client-side via the Google Maps API.

If the "Remove settings on deactivation" option is checked in Settings, all plugin data is deleted. Otherwise, your settings and map entries are preserved for reactivation.
